Biography
Dr. Jeremy S. Bock earned his undergraduate degree from Colgate University and his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 2006. He completed residency in internal medicine at the University of Maryland Medical Center. He continued his specialty training in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at the University of Maryland where he received several teaching awards.
Dr. Bock joined the Virginia Hospital Center Physician Group in 2015. He is board certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular disease, and internal medicine and he is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
Dr. Bock currently performs a full spectrum of cardiac catheterization and coronary artery intervention procedures including complex and high risk cases turned down for open heart surgery. He also specializes in the procedural treatment of peripheral vascular disease for claudication (leg pain) and limb ischemia. In 2016, Dr. Bock championed the pulmonary artery thrombolysis program at Virginia Hospital Center which offers patients emergent and life-saving treatment of large pulmonary emboli.
When not performing procedures, he enjoys spending time with patients in his outpatient general cardiology practice through the Physician Group.
