Biography
Sandra Esset, a native of Southern New Jersey, is an ANCC board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Master’s degree in Nursing at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, New Jersey and her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.
Prior to joining the Virginia Hospital Center Physician Group Primary Care Alexandria team, Sandra held a variety of roles over the past 12 years with AtlantiCare, South Jersey’s largest health care corporation, where she was recognized by employers and peers as a hard working professional and a compassionate clinician. Her greatest areas of interest and expertise in family medicine include: disease prevention and management and encouraging patients to be proactive in their health and wellness approach.
Sandra is a proud member of Sigma Theta Tau International, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, working out, and participating in local community service events, and is also an active member of her local church. She is excited to be a part of the Primary Care Alexandria physicians team and looks forward to providing care to you and your family.
