Your Care Team of Physicians, Nurse Practitioners & Support Staff
Your regular primary care doctor at Primary Care Alexandria is the leader of your care team and manages your overall health. Your primary care doctor partners with our nurse practitioners to provide you with increased access to our practice for:
- Follow-up routine visits for chronic conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, depression/anxiety, thyroid, high cholesterol or others
- Same-day appointments for acute sinus, urinary tract or other infections
- Annual physicals and travel clinic visits for travel outside of the country
- Follow-up appointments after visits to Urgent Care or Emergency Room visits without a Hospital admission
Your Care Team Knows You & Your Medical History
Your care team communicates with each other before, after and, if needed, during your visit in order to provide the safest and highest quality care. Your care team also includes Virginia Hospital Center Urgent Care, which offers you coordinated quality care by having access to your medical records. Our friendly support staff is available to assist you with any other questions related to your upcoming appointment.
