Biography
Medical Director of Primary Care Alexandria, Terri Remy, MD, FACP earned both BS and MS degrees at The University of Maryland. She subsequently graduated from the George Washington University School of Medicine (DC). She continued her medical training at George Washington University Medical Center, completing both an Internal Medicine internship and a Primary Care/Internal Medicine Residency.
Dr. Remy is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, and is a Certified Menopause Practitioner as well. She has an interest in preventive care and women’s health issues. Prior to medical school, Dr. Remy worked at Georgetown University Medical Center as a nutritionist in an outpatient clinic. Dr. Remy continues to have a particular interest in nutrition and its relationship to health and disease. She has been in practice in Northern Virginia since 1992.
Dr. Remy is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Georgetown University Medical Center (DC). Dr. Remy is also a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, a member of the North American Menopause Society, a member of the American College of Physicians and a member of the Medical Society of Virginia. In addition, she is a past President of the Arlington County Medical Society.
