Dr. Devina McCray earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. She completed her general surgery residency at Florida Hospital in Orlando, FL along with serving as administrative chief resident during her final year. Dr McCray completed a Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH. During her fellowship, she was involved with numerous clinical research projects including fertility in reproductive age women after breast cancer treatment and Care Path utilization guiding use of breast MRI. She has presented her work at national, state, and local meetings. She has a strong interest in advance surgery techniques including nipple sparing mastectomy and oncoplasty. She is also passionate about increasing breast health awareness.
Dr. McCray is involved with a number of societies including American Society of Breast Surgeons, Society of Surgical Oncology, and American Society of Clinical Oncology. She is dedicated to the multidisciplinary approach to breast care and providing an extra level of expertise to the individualized needs of each patient.
She is Board Certified in General Surgery.
Dr. McCray joined the Virginia Hospital Center Physician Group in 2016 as a dedicated breast surgeon. She resides in Arlington with her husband and two children. She is currently accepting new patients.
