Breast surgery at Virginia Hospital Center is led by Molly L. Sebastian, MD, FACS who focuses exclusively on breast surgery in Northern Virginia and the Greater Washington, DC area. They offer patients expert operative care, with minimally-invasive techniques being used whenever possible and treatment tailored to the unique needs of the individual patient.
Procedures available to breast cancer patients and other patients with diseases of the breast include – but are not limited to – the following:
- Ultrasound-guided biopsy
- Stereotactic biopsy
- MRI-guided biopsy
- Sentinel node biopsy and/or excision
- Oncoplastic surgery
