Biography
Dahea Kim, MD is on OB/GYN physician who joined the VHC Physician Group – OB/GYN practice in 2020.
She graduated cum laude from Brigham Young University in 2012 with a degree in neuroscience. She attended the University of Virginia School of Medicine shortly afterwards. While in Virginia for medical school, Dr. Kim volunteered at the Charlottesville Free Clinic Diabetes Program and the Remote Area Medical Clinic in Wise, VA. She went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine in the spring of 2020. During Residency, Dr. Kim received a number of awards, including the Resident Teacher of the Year in 2017. She received Recognition of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology and was also selected to be a member of The Arnold P. Gold Humanism Honor Society for exhibiting outstanding humanism in medicine.
Dr. Kim is a Junior Fellow with the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is currently accepting new patients.
