Biography
Sha’ni Brown, DNP, FNP-BC is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Science from Virginia Common Wealth University, graduating in 2008. She went on to receive her Master’s Degree in Nursing Science from Bowie State University in 2013 and her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Old Dominion University in 2018. Sha’ni joined VHC Physician Group – Primary Care McLean in the spring of 2019.
Sha’ni has a clinical interest in chronic disease management, preventive health, and encouraging a healthy lifestyle, exercise and fitness. She has a personalized, empathetic approach to patient care and acknowledges the uniqueness of each of her patients. Her patient encounters focus on the whole health of a patient, rather than only the treatment of the symptoms of a present illness or condition.
Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, Sha’ni moved to the DC area in 2009. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
