Biography
Dr. Arshad Ali graduated magna cum laude from Virginia Tech in 2012, before attending Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, VA. He then moved to Illinois for his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Chicago. During residency, Dr. Ali received the Resident Teaching Award in 2018. He also served as a supervising physician at the New Life Volunteer Society Free Clinic for two years while living in Chicago.
Dr. Arshad joined VHC Physician Group – Primary Care Falls Church in the summer of 2019. Dr. Ali has a collaborative approach to patient care, and values developing strong relationships with his patients and shared decision making in every aspect of their health.
Dr. Ali has a particular clinical interest in obesity medicine and weight management. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association, and the American Medical Association.
Outside of work, Dr. Ali enjoys cooking, outdoor activities, and playing piano and saxophone.
