Dr. Boinest & Dr. Modak Featured in Local News Segments

Dr. Rohit Modak of VHC Physician Group – Infectious Diseases was recently featured in WUSA9 News segment, where he discussed protection against the flu and the mumps this season.

“Now is the time to get the flu shot, it can really protect you and your family as we head into flu season full-steam,” says Dr. Modak. Flu season is expected to pick up in mid-December, and it is not too late to visit one of our Primary Care practices or Urgent Care center to get a flu shot today. No appointment is necessary.

Dr. Catherine Boinest of Primary Care McLean was also recently featured in two separate news segments. Earlier this month, she was interviewed for Good Morning Washington’s “Daylight Saving Survival Guide” video. Dr. Boinest touches on the various health effects of daylight savings, and how to combat the winter’s shorter days and earlier darkness.
