Hematuria

The definition of Hematuria is “blood in the urine.” This can be further defined as gross hematuria (where you see the blood in the urine) or micro-hematuria (only visible under a microscope). There are many causes of hematuria such as kidney diseases, urinary tract infections, kidney stones, and kidney or bladder cancer. Our urologists can evaluate your hematuria, determine the cause and provide appropriate treatment.
