Brittany earned her Bachelor of Science in Allied Health Sciences from the University on Connecticut where she graduated with Cum Laude Honors in 2013. She went on to earn a Master’s of Science in Physician Assistant Health Studies in conjunction with a Master’s in Public Health at the School of Medicine and Health Sciences at George Washington University and graduated in 2017.
Brittany joins the VHC Physician Group in the summer of 2017 with years of valuable experience with direct patient care. While in school at Connecticut, Brittany was a state-certified EMT with Darien Emergency Medical Services, and also served as President of the UConn American Red Cross Club where she coordinated blood drives across campus. During her graduate studies, Brittany trained across many different medical specialties, including inpatient medicine, surgery, emergency medicine, OB/GYN, and behavioral health. In acquiring her MPH, she spent a year developing skills to create and evaluate evidenced-based interventions to improve public health, clinical care outcomes and patient experience. She also served as a medical volunteer as part of the GW Medical Reserve Corp, where she was able to provide first-line care to patients at a variety of athletic events in DC.
