Rebecca King, MD is a primary care physician with VHC Physician Group – National Landing.
She went to college at George Mason University and graduated with a degree in Biology. She graduated Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in 2016, before attending residency at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center with Pennsylvania State University. In 2020, she completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Wellspan Health York Hospital in York, PA.
Dr. King has a particular interest in Sports Medicine, and throughout residency she provided sideline medical coverage during football games, cross country meets and wrestling matches at local high schools and colleges. She also performed pre-participation physicals to athletes before games. During her fellowship with Wellspan Health, she served as the Sports Medicine Fellow Clinical Preceptor where she provided lectures and clinical teaching of medical students and Family Medicine residents on Sports Medicine rotation.
She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, and also has a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine. She is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, the American College of Sports Medicine and the American Academy of Family Medicine.
