Biography
Michelle Coleman, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist with specializations in Health Psychology/ Neuropsychology/ Rehabilitation.
Dr. Coleman has worked for over a decade across a range of different healthcare settings. She formerly worked as a clinical neuropsychologist at Inova Mount Vernon Hospital on the acute rehabilitation unit and worked extensively for Temple University Hospital Behavioral Weight Loss Program.
Dr. Coleman has a passion for enhancing physical health and mental wellness in under-represented communities. She is a member of the American Association for Black Psychologists and her research focuses on addressing health disparities in minority communities. At present, she engages in educational initiatives centered on combating chronic medical co-morbidities via weight-management and healthy life-style promotion as well as addressing the stigma of mental health in underserved communities.
